For researchers balancing work and study

One task.
A clearer next step.

A survey that takes the wrong turn. A formula that won’t work. Slides that bury your message. Bring one specific problem; we’ll agree a small, practical fix and explain it.

Three pilot offers · USD 25 each · scope agreed before payment

You keep authorship and research decisions. We confirm fit and turnaround after reviewing your brief.

01 / Before you share

Survey launch check

USD 25

Check up to 15 supplied, approved questions for branching, mobile usability and export readiness.

You receive a test checklist and practical corrections, or correction instructions where platform access is unavailable.

Recruitment, questionnaire methodology, ethics approval and platform fees are outside this scope.

02 / When something breaks

Spreadsheet or code troubleshooting

USD 25

Resolve one small, reproducible formula, import, data-label or script problem within an agreed one-hour scope.

You receive a corrected file or code snippet, change notes and an explanation you can follow.

We confirm the software and our ability to help first. Specialist statistical analysis is separately scoped.

03 / Before you present

Conference presentation check

USD 25

Polish up to five supplied slides, or review one existing poster for layout and readability.

You receive slide edits or annotated poster feedback, plus a short speaking outline based on your content.

Full poster design, scientific review and live rehearsal sessions require a separate agreement.

Small fixes, with the reason attached.

Illustrative examples created for this page. These are not client projects or research findings.

01 / A branch that respects the answer

Example: a workshop feedback survey asks non-attendees to rate a workshop they never attended.

Try either answer to see the corrected route.

What the check covers

Test both routes, required fields, back navigation and mobile labels. Export a test response and confirm that skipped questions remain identifiable. Remove test responses before launch.

02 / Why an average lost its decimal

Illustrative C++ issue: integer division turns 10 ÷ 3 into 3 before the result reaches a double.

// Before: division uses two integers.
double mean = total / count;

// After: convert before dividing.
double mean = static_cast<double>(total) / count;

The complete example also rejects a zero count. Expected output for total 10 and count 3: 3.33333.

03 / Give a slide one job

Before / illustrative supplied notes

Workshop review: attendees shared comments about session pacing, the use of examples and where practical exercises could be added. For the next session we want to discuss how to make more time for guided practice and collect feedback afterwards.

After / one proposed actionMake room for guided practice.

Next session: add a short exercise after each example.

Then ask participants what helped.

Speaker note: explain why you propose the exercise, then ask the audience for feedback. In real work, we preserve your meaning and check every change with you.

A clear agreement before work starts.

1. Describe the task

Send your deadline, software and the specific issue. Start with anonymised examples; keep participant data, passwords and confidential files out of the initial email.

2. Confirm fit, scope and timing

We reply with the exact deliverable, limits and turnaround. For academic work, tell us what assistance your institution permits.

3. Pay through a matching invoice

Once we both agree the scope, we send a PayPal invoice or payment link for that service. These pilots have no checkout until the scope is confirmed.

4. Receive and review

Get the agreed fix and explanation. One correction round within the agreed scope is included, requested within seven days of delivery.

What academic support can I request?

Formatting, presentation clarity, reference consistency and explained troubleshooting where permitted. Your arguments, methods and assessed work remain yours. We do not write assessed submissions for you, invent research or sources, or promise grades.

What if the task is too large for USD 25?

We explain the mismatch before payment. You can narrow the task, decline, or agree a separate quote. No automatic extra charges.
